- Hiring, onboarding, training, supervising and managing clinic therapists in coordination with Clinic Director and according to Ellie standards, including handling PTO requests, expense reimbursements, CEU requests, mediating issues and concerns, reviewing productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation, implementing performance coaching, performance improvement plans, supervision plans, conducting annual performance reviews and handling termination processes.
- Implementing Ellie policies and procedures, including updating clinicians of changes related to Ellie clinical operations (i.e., policy changes, HR regulations, IT systems, EHR requirements and best practices, workflows, clinic updates, compliance expectations, etc.)
- Maintaining a productive clinical caseload
- Assess ongoing development and training needs and conduct ongoing training as needed.
- Hold staff compassionately accountable to meeting performance expectations.
- Manage staff performance, including implementing Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, and termination process as needed.
- Provide 1:1 consultation and supervision with therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation.
- Oversee twice monthly peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence and alignment with best practices.
- Provide clinical oversight to clinic’s Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers.
- Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.
- Ensure that full-time clinicians maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

- Candidates are required to be a fully licensed in the state of Illinois
- Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Required experience with children, adolescents and teens
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems
- Ability to pass a background check
- Candidates will have at least 2 years experience managing therapists.
- Candidates will have experience with couples and families.
- Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
- Candidate has strong relationships to the mental health community in Lake County, IL and the ability to recruit therapists and clients.
