Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by licensed clinicians in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Family has continued to grow with multiple clinics nationwide and a growing number of locally owned and operated franchises across the country. We currently have 2 locations in Libertyville and Bannockburn/Deerfield, IL, with plans of continued expansion. At Ellie Mental Health – Deerfield/Bannockburn, we’re building a high-performing, clinician-centered group practice designed for experienced therapists who want the freedom of private practice without the business headaches.
This is not an entry-level role as we’re looking for clinicians who are already practicing directly with clients, already trusted, and ready to plug into something bigger with their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide high-quality therapy services to clients
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 25 sessions per week (full-time)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with colleagues and referral partners
- Participate in team meetings and trainings
- Option to provide supervision for pre-licensed clinicians
Required Qualifications and/or Skills:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Illinois licensure or pre-licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, PsyD; ALMFT, LSW, or LPC)
- Experience with assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfort working with children, teens, families, or adults
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing client base or referral network
• Experience with children, couples and/or family work
• Familiarity with case note documentation and EHR systems
